When it comes to Maui vacationing, this hard(er) to find 170 model is the perfect combination of compact RV for driving through Kahului or Kihei and easily parking on the street, and spacious interior for relaxing at mile marker 14 and soaking up the sun/surf at Olowalu in RV luxury. When it comes to Maui living, our Roadtrek has been an amazing Maui RV home-away-from- home for us; the exterior shower is awesome for the beach, and the bug-screen while the rear doors are open allows the breeze, but not the bugs (not that there are any), to flow and keep us cool whether we're Upcountry or wherever we find ourselves on the island. Between the stove/microwave, fridge/freezer, generator, toilet and showers, the 170 has been truly an amazing vehicle for comfortably living off the grid everywhere on the island; even better, the 170 is a quick drive to Kahului harbor and just a short boat ride to any one of the islands, so all the islands of Hawai'i are now your affordable vacation home.
