1. Length of the Reese extension exposed, 14". I assume that the length that is exposed is how it is described. A length of the extension was not printed on the label.
2. The hitch material that was welded to the extension is 5" long - just enough to accommodate all of that part of the Yakima rack that inserts into the hitch.
3. The distance from the pin center to the end of the Reese extension is about 9 1/2 inches.

It is important that the weld be done by someone who knows what they're doing.
